E&A provides contract medical device design and product development consulting services to clients throughout the U.S. Since its founding in 1984, E&A staff members have been named inventors on 163 U.S. patents as well as foreign patent counterparts. With over 160 man-years of experience, the multidisciplinary E&A Team has successfully provided turnkey product development services to dozens of U.S. medical device companies. Five medical device companies were founded by the principals of E&A over the past 15 years including one company, ArthroCare Corporation, which became a publicly traded company in 1996.
